Onyx Gaming is a UK-based digital gaming company delivering online entertainment to a growing user base. As

The Challenge

Onyx had recently implemented a basic Azure-based network hub but recognised the need for a more
structured and compliant environment to support future growth. With a third-party security audit on the horizon
and minimal internal overhead for network architecture, Onyx needed:

  • A robust and scalable Azure Network Hub
  • Enhanced security and compliance aligned to Microsoft’s Well-Architected Framework
  • A partner who could work collaboratively with internal teams while keeping delivery fast and costeffective
  • Support with minimal take-on friction and the flexibility to scale support over time

Our Solution

IJYI was engaged to design and implement a production-ready Azure Network Hub. Key phases included –

  • Discovery & Design Workshop: Review of Onyx’s current Azure environment, collaborative planning for networking, compliance, and monitoring
  • Lightweight High-Level Design Document: Purposefully lean to reduce cost and prioritise implementation
  • Implementation Phase: Deployment of core Azure components including Virtual WAN, VPNs, Virtual Hub, Security Groups, Key Vault, Bastion, and Monitoring
  • Transition Phase: Handover and knowledge transfer for Onyx’s internal teams
  • Optional Warranty Period: Short-term guidance post-implementation

The engagement was completed fully remotely, with minimal disruption to Onyx’s operations.
